As RSPo Foundation, CITE and CMPC ties up to impart their service to the community, another feeding program was launched on October 18 at Cubacub Elementary School and 160 of Banilad's severely wasted kids were fed during the activity.
While Ronas Decoy, a CITE volunteer was on his way to the feeding area of Cubacub Elementary School, he accidentally came across a child sitting along one of the corridors of the school. Ron said,
"Kakita ko ug bata unya gipangutana nako nganung di man siya muapil sa uban niyang schoolmates," and the kid looking envy replied, "Wala koy rice..." It was like Ronas's heart was touched by something cold that in his mind, he couldn't imagine how helpless the child was.
The kid Ronas met, was just as any other kids out their in the streets, longing to find something to fill their empty stomach. And this sad reality had engaged foundations like RSPo and CITE to extend their reach to these people.
